375 ml bottle - 2022 release. Drank at cellar temperature
pours ink black in color, thin brown colored head that fades quickly. Soft vanilla, pipe tobacco, oak, orange zest, walnut in the aroma. A touch boozy as it warms even more to room temperature - but still very smooth for such a strong beer. full bodied, silky smooth

Pours a tawny-hued near-black color with a thin dark mocha head that quickly dissipates into a pencil-point crown.
Chocolate, tobacco, cordials, star anise, root beer and alcohol in the nose.
Sweet and smooth up front in the taste; hairy and hard edged in the finish. Chocolate, plum, cherry cordial, vanilla and caramel give way to almost abrasive alcohol harshness and slight nuttiness.
Viscous and slightly syrupy, but still quite smooth feeling with light carbonation.
Presents like an old-school Ralphius that will put hair on your chest. Very enjoyable.
