November 2022 release, 375ml bottle
pours jet black with brown colored head that fades. Boozy orange zest, black pepper, dark chocolate. Aroma is a bit more herbal. Oak and caramel in there too. Definitely complex

Pours black with a hint of plum. The thin, large-bubbled, dark-mocha head quickly dissipates into a soupy crown that leaves no lacing.
Heavy bourbon, some vanilla, dark chocolate brownie batter, caramel and sherry compete in the nose.
Tons of depth and character in the taste: root beer, strong wood, ash, sherry, vanilla, red plum, caramel, cocoa, herbal bitterness and strong alcohol heat.
Oily feel with some tight carbonation behind.
Incredible mix of flavors and great balance between the sweet and bitter. Exactly what I’m looking for in a Ralphius variant.
