This Imperial Stout was aged for a year in a 9 Year Elijah Craig bourbon barrel, sourced by our friends at Iron Abbey in Horsham, Pennsylvania. We taste notes of rich fudge, dark brown sugar, and spice. A total of ~258 bottles were produced.

Black with a lasting, soupy mocha crown.
Chocolate, leather, plum and vanilla in the nose. Nice whiff of alcohol.
The taste follows closely with strong licorice and bitter baker’s cocoa added to the mix. Lots of warming alcohol.
Full, chewy feel with very little carbonation.
This one has dark flavors, even for the Ralphius series. Not my favorite of the bunch, but still very tasty.
