Inky black with a half finger of dark khaki head that quickly dissipates into a lasting, bubbly crown. Sparse, spotty lacing.
Canadian Club whisky and cola up front in the nose. Caramel, chocolate and cherry behind.
Molasses and licorice make strong showings in the taste, making for a sweet beverage, but with mature, darker flavors. A hint of plum and even citrus behind — tangerine, maybe. Strong heat and touches of earthy hop bitterness, dark-roast coffee and wood round out the finish.
Exceptionally smooth feel. There’s a little heft to it, but it comes across relatively light bodied to me in comparison to how silky it is. Restrained carbonation.
Another really tasty one. The sweetness, darkness and booziness make for a great combo.

375 ml bottle, 2023 release
Pours jet black, with dark tan colored head. Better head retention than other Ralphius variants. Wonderful aroma - woody, dark chocolate, rich espresso, earthy roasted nuts. Taste is similarly complex, with molasses and some booziness. Body is thick and silky smooth like all the variants.
I like this is probabaly the best Ralphius variant yet

Enjoyed on tap at Free Will Brewing, Perkasie, PA
Poured into a goblet. A jet black, tar color. Little to no head.
Aromas of bourban and chocolate.
Wow, an intense, boozy yet delicous stout. The bourban flavor whacks you from the initial sip and grabs hold of you the entire session. Roasted malts, sweet chocolate and whiskey are the dominate flavors. At almost 15%, this was a one and done brew.
Thicker, heavier, viscous consistancy. A boozy aftertaste.
A top-notch stout on every level. A great way to enjoy the end of 2023 at my local brewery...cheers!

I almost didn't buy this one and it might be my favorite Ralphius yet. It's as chocolatey but not as sweet and more boozy than regular Ralphius. Charred brown sugar, light licorice, over-roasted espresso, earthy licorice, deeply toasted walnuts, and stronger oak all compliment the base beer wonderfully while blunting its sweetness a bit. The heat at the end is strong for Ralphius but it has a unique flavor that I'm really enjoying. The body is moderately think and very silky with very gentle carbonation. This is magnificent.
