Pours black with a finger of tawny mocha head that quickly fizzes away into a thin, broken crown.

Deep chocolate in the nose, coupled with some caramel, cola and pear.

Chocolate-and-caramel dipped fruit slices continue to the taste. Sometimes pear, sometimes green apple, sometimes something more whimsical. Almond, bread crust and cigarettes on the backend prevent it from being overly sweet.

Oily feel with a soft, but firmly carbonated base that also contributes to tamping down too much sweetness.

Not my favorite Ralphius, but definitely a very interesting one. Hard to go wrong with this series.

jet black in color, brown colored head. aroma of oak, vanilla, apple, pear. similar taste, not sure I am a big fan of the fruit notes. full bodied, smooth feel.
