Reviewed on 5-29-15. Water goblet. Canned on 10423150 (April 23?)
Appearance: Weird - pours a slightly hazy gold, but it absorbs light - it almost looks gold/gray with 1/2 finger bright white head that fades to nothing quickly. Active visible carbonation, pretty decent lacing.
Aroma: Whoa grapefruity! Hoppy & resinous, a touch of alcohol.
Taste: Bitter hoppy, citrusy & slightly tropical resiny arrival, clean and slightly bitter mid palate. Lingering resiny & fruity hop finish. Pleasant. A little rye spice at the finish?
Mouthfeel: Active carbonation, heavier side of light. Crisp & clean.
Overall: This is a blast of hops for a wheat beer. It reminds me a lot of MadTree's Sprye, but not as clean as Sprye. Quite refreshing and clean, but not as easy drinking as Oberon. Borders on IPA territory with this bitterness. Certainly a pale ale.

One of the worst beers I've had in a while. Wife didn't even like it.

12 ounce can, no canning date that I could find. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a dark gold color with about a half inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like oranges, tangerines, wheat/grainy malt and a bit of peppery spice. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, although I think it smells a little better than it tastes. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's refreshing and easy to drink. This wouldn't be an everyday beer for me, but on a hot day I could certainly drink quite a few of these! Certainly worth trying if you've never had it before, not a bad choice for summer. $8.99 a 6-pack.

Not a bad beer by any stretch. But it's lacking some solid flavor that keeps it from being more than average as far as the style goes. Some tangerines possibly and some peppery spice. Ok summer refresher but definitely a one and done for me.

In cans now. This beer is a great example of the style and quite refreshing.
