India Pale Ale

This beer is lightly hazy and is a full copper color with amber hints to it. The head is wispy and wan with a pale tan color to it. The aroma is strangely lacking, perhaps a bit of herbal hops, plus a subtle note of grapefruit. The taste has quite a bit more bitterness than I was expecting from the bland nose. The bitterness and the carbonation combine to give this beer a spritzy quality. There is a bit of caramel like maltiness here, as well as a hint of spicy, citrus hop flavor and some fruitiness, but mostly the bitterness is noticeable. This is quaffable and clean, and I like this as a session brew.
