Walked into a newly refurbished pub with a new landlord and I spied this on a pumpclip: one hand pulled pint later and I'm reviewing the second pint!
Dark copper, amberish colour, white head that clung to the glass like glue.
The nose and taste were on the malty side, caramel and molasses but without too much sweetness, so more in the smell than in the taste. Hop content comes out in the flavours with a citrusy dry finish to each sip.
OK without setting the world alight: good to see new micro-brews getting into my area, I normally have to travel to find new breweries beers.
