16th June 2012: hand pulled half-pint in the excellent ‘Crown’, Beeston.
Third beer of the evening and this amber beer caught my eye as the bloke in front of me ordered one, I followed. The head was both creamy in colour and texture and the beer oozed caramel flavours throughout. The nose was dominated by the malty caramel smells and the hops couldn’t get a look in until the end of each sip when a slight bitterness arrives as the mouth dried.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
