Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a hazy golden color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades super-fast leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is biggest of a hot pepper smell as may be expected for the style. Along with this aroma comes some other lighter notes of wheat bread and a light citrus smell of orange and lemon as well as some yeast.
Taste – The taste begins with a dry wheat flavor with a hint of a citrus of orange and lemon. These citrus remains very light and fades almost entirely away at the end. The wheaty flavors of the brew lose a little bit of ground as well all while a black and jalapeno pepper spice come to the tongue. These flavors begin mild, but gain potency to the end, where they mix with the wheat and dry taste to leave a nicely spiced and somewhat hot and crisp wheat flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the slightly thinner side with a carbonation level that is rather moderate. For the hot and spicy but dry flavors of the brew the feel is quite nice and makes it a quite drinkable and moderately refreshing brew in light of the heat.
Overall – While I am not a huge hot pepper beer fan this one was not too bad and the heat mellowed the normally sweeter hefe flavors nicely, with it overall being rather drier and drinkable overall.

Insanely good - all the great smell and taste of jalapeno, without the burn. Excellent amber color, slight head, nice lacing. Perfect on a summer's afternoon...with BBQ, or just on its own. We are not-so-patiently waiting for the next batch to come out of the fermenter. Keep this one in the rotation!
