Cervejaria Búzios

As I was in the area, I decided to drink local with Búzios Tartaruga. Served from a 600 ml bottle, on to the beer:

It's a cloudy body inside that yellow tangerine beer. Half an inch of head rests on top, retaining itself very well on top. The traditional hefeweizen aroma hits in spades, bringing banana bread, clove, and spice to the nose. Although the tastes starts with a semi-watery banana flavor, Tartaruga hits in other notes. I like the spicy sensation here, bringing me clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon. The beer is light and the carbonation is gentle and pleasurable. Needless to say, put it all together and it's a great thirst buster.

Brazilians have gotten the hang of making a good hefeweizen, and Búzios' version also hits a good mark.
