Pours a light small fizzy head covering, no lacing, dark auburn chestnut color
Nose is decent, some dark fruits, raisin, prune, sweet candy aromas but not super sweet, some molasses, caramel, toffee, a touch nutty, toasted raisin bread crust, toasted grain
Taste brings more sweet flavors up front, caramel and toffee, as well as molasses, candied prunes and a little craisin, nice malt-derived fruity esters, more toasted grain and bread crust as well, also not syrupy, then some mild earthy spicy hop character and light bitterness, little biscuity note, drier but mild sticky finish, bitterness ramps to a med spicy hop bitterness
Mouth is med bod, carb on the higher side but not overly
Overall this is a pretty solid dunkel, I wouldn't call this German level but def as good as most American made ones I've had, not sure how that other person gave it such a low rating, maybe they were expecting Skol or something crappy and got actual flavor.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
