Toit is an important part of the Bangalore craft brew movement. The smell of beer mash as you enter is great. I have never felt this close to the making process.
The good:
- Good seasonal and an average regular selection of beers. They even made a pumpkin ale in Oct. 2012. That's special, for Bangalore.
- Good hefeweizen. Fresh and has a lot of flavor.
- Decent food. Tons of pizza choices.
- Lots of space. This is not unusual, considering that craft brewhouses in Bangalore have a rather large minimum space requirement.
The bad:
- They are always out of their good beer. Their stout, which is above average - you have to be lucky to find it on tap on any given day.
- The staff tend to be a bit rude. I was once given a stout with a crazy amount of head that dissipated quickly and made it a 3/4th of a pint. Talking to the bartender was of no help.
Convenient location, decent beer, and consistent.
