Appearance: Clear, medium amber brown, with a robust, off-white head, which retains well, and scattered, patchy lacing.

Aroma: Very pronounced aroma of pumpkin pie spices, roasted pecans, and sweet alcohol. There is a bread note, which is suggestive of pie crust.

Taste: Roasted pecand and pumpkin pie spices are forward in the taste, soon after, dark caramel offers a substantial presence. As the taste progresses, the pumpkin pie spices and roasted pecans vie with the dark caramel malt and alcohol to dominate the taste. Finishes with a lingering note of pumpkin pie spices, roasted pecans, caramel, and sweet alcohol, with all of the complexity of this beer presenting at the close.

Mouth feel: Smooth, soft, and full, pleasant.

Drinkability/notes: Superb and drinkable, one I look forward to every fall.

Presentation: Packaged in a sixty-four ounce brown glass Pecan Street growler, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.
