Pours a amber bronze color with fine clarity. Soapy white head forms and leaves plenty of lacing. Looks to be a fine lager, and appropriate depth of color from traditional malts employed.
The aroma is malty and lightly sweet. There are some pungent herbal notes, but rather small in comparison to the malty, toasted smell.
In the taste, doughy malt flavor with the traditional nutty, almost cocoa like essence from Munich style maltings. There is a balancing bitterness that is as substantial as it is easily overlooked. This is a very nice American made Oktoberfest, it isn't a sweet bomb and it has a nice freshly kilned malt flavor.
Medium bodied, smooth, with a medium level of carbonation. The finish has some malt and hop flavors lingering and leaving you yearning for another sip.
Overall, this was an impressive outing from upstart Pittsburgh area brewery All Saints. This may be my favorite beer they have done that I've tried. Absolutely nailed the style. A lager to reckon with!

Growler from Brewery: This one pours a clear, amber color. There was a small off white head on it that left a little lacing. Lighter but nice nose. Some caramel and toasted malts, as well a bit of earthiness. Not much else that I can detect. The taste is good, but also a little on the lighter side. Some caramel and toasted malts again. A touch of sweetness. Some eathiness and a touch of dryness in the finish. Very easy drinking.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a deeper amber color with a tiny head of white foam. The head fades super-fast, leaving some bubbles of foam on the sides of the glass
Smell – The aroma of the beer very light overall with just some hints of a lightly toasted malt and a little bit of caramel. Along with these smells are some very light aromas of an earthy nature.
Taste – The taste begins with a smooth, lightly roasted malt flavor with some hints of a caramel sweetness mixed within. The sweetness seems to fade as the flavor advances with it becoming dryer more toward the end. Along with the drying of the taste, the brew also gains some grassy and earthy flavors with it. With a little bit of graininess and a light apple and caramel coming back to the tongue at the end, one is left with a lightly sweetened and easy going taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the lighter side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is on the average side. Both are quite appropriate for the mix of lightly toasted malt and sweet flavors of the brew and really make for an easy drinking style.
Overall – Easy drinking and enjoyable, but nothing exceptional. A nice brew to sit and sip while watching sports or just hanging out.
