On draft into a snifter. Lighter golden in color with great clarity and carbonation. 2 fingers of bubbly, white foam on top. Nose is dank onion, citrus, pine, hop resin, and a touch of biscuity malt. The taste follows along quite closely, being only a touch sweeter than the nose would indicate. Very dank up front but finishes with a nice maltiness that smoothes out the hop abrasiveness. Creamy mouthfeel.
Overall, really good. Reminded me a lot of Enjoy By.

Had it on draft at Country Boy.
I must say, this is probably my favorite IPA done by the brewery. It has that citra smell that is all too enticing and the flavor profile is off the charts. Citra is my favorite hop by the way, but the brew has a great malt backbone that gives it a steady platform to showcase the hop. This is probably my favorite IPA in the state of Kentucky.

I am not typically a Citra hop fan, as I get too much onion, garlic and chive but this gives off not a hint of any. Instead it's a relatively assertive punch of orange, nectarines, tangerines, red grapefruit and passion fruit. The spine is a nice caramel and honey but it's not too stiff. Country Boy is really beginning to perfect their IPA's and I'm glad I'm a part of it.

Raining down with hops, this go round the Country Boys lay a lesson in taste upon the palate with the irresistible "Citra" hop varietal. Its classic citrus and tropical medley seduces the tastebuds with ease and offers hints of herbal presence behind.
Its bright orange-copper hues even suggest orange, mango and apricot. But its only when the nose hovers above, do the onslaught of tangy and teeth-grinding aromas and flavors reveal those tangerine, red grapefruit, pineapple and passionfruit secrets.
Dripping with juiciness, the middle palate is sweet enough to suggest sun-kissed fruit flavor in all their succulence, acidity and fruity sweetness. Shy of caramel but not quite honey either, the body continues as the taste falls deeper and deeper into finish.
With a piquant but smooth bitterness, its moderate hoppy acidity plays out in slight mimosa character. A pep of chive and mint come in as the beer dries to full completion, leaving only a citrusy linger to play on.
