Purchased this during the 3rd anniversary weekend.

A. Dark brown. Poured a slight fine-bubble head that quickly retreats to a non-existent film. Dark mahogany hues at edges of glass. Moderately low viscosity. For some reason I was hoping for a frothier head and thicker viscosity to create a silky texture.

S. The dark roasted malts give a dominate coffee and coco base to the flavor profile. Minor note's of bread pudding with a booze-infused glaze, raisins, rum barrels, and a little booze at end. I really dig the nose of this beer.

T. The complex mix of the chocolate, rum barrels, and a hint of orange create a very impressive taste. This has nice and subtle flavors that work together. Minor notes of raisins, coco, coffee, chocolate, orange zest, and sugar-coated orange jellies. Not sweet resulting from the hoppy bitterness and packed with tons of flavor.

M. Full body, moderate to low carbonation, thin to moderately thin. As previously stated, I was wishing for a thicker, more silky beer.

O. The country boys are getting this barrel-aging down. I think ever new release shows increased complexity and refinement from this 3-year old brewery. I've seen their facility and it seems this place is going heads first into barrel-aging and it will be very well revived. A nice vacancy in KY which they are deservedly filling.
