750 ml bottle. No dating on it that I could find, but I think I've had this for about 6 months or so. Served in a Prairie Teku, the beer pours a hazy reddish/brown color with about an inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like tart cherries, woodiness, dark fruit, and a bit of whiskey. Taste is similar to the aroma, it tastes like tart cherries, dark fruit, vinegar, wood, caramel and some whiskey. I liked the tartness of this brew, and the whiskey flavor was subtle but still noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and is easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I'm glad I bought this, I liked it! Definitely a wild ale worth trying. $15.99 a bottle.

This starts with a truly funky bourbonesque cream which evolves into a fruit juice, oak, woodsy barrel. It finishes with a tangy sour. Country Boy celebrates 4 years with one of their most different creations that is delicious and unique.
