Taster at brewery. Pale straw color, light haze. Light hoppy aroma, green earthy. Taste is very light fruity notes, more subdued hoppy flavors and a creamy, silky feel.

The style may be all-New England, but adapting the hazy IPA, Country Boy's version couldn't be more Kentuckian. With locally sourced hops, malt and yeast, a unique Bluegrass flavor starts to take shape.
Suspended in a matte goldenrod hue, Kentuckified IPA crowns with a loose, fast dissolving whipped meringue of a froth. Sharply grassy, citrus and herbal, the nose allows its piney hop presence to rest above a softer cereal and dough maltiness. Sweet on the initial palate, its pastry influence brings a bread dough, cereal and honey that starts the session sweeter and malty.
The flavors quickly turn over to the hops as the ale rolls across the middle palate. Loosening its malty sweet, cereal grip, the hops trend citrus and tropical with white grapefruit, lime, pineapple peels and passionfruit. Growing with bitterness, the late palate brings about a transition to fresh cut grass, chive and lemon verbena.
Sharply grassy in finish, the assertive peppery vegetation carries a light astringency through a malty-dry texture and a smooth herbal tea bitterness. Hints of gin-like botanicals linger into a sharp and sprucy aftertaste, exceeding that of typical Hazy IPA.
