Picked this up recently at a Kroger in Kentucky while on my way home from the left coast. Never had anything from these guys before as this was a decent take on a style that's all too common in these parts that checked off all of the boxes and didn't have too much alcohol, to boot.
This poured somewhat hazy as the golden hue was semi-translucent with a nice pile of foam topping this off. A good amount of lacing was left behind with a few defined rings standing out amongst the suds. Lots of citrus and grapefruit rind in the muted nose along with a hint of weed as the heavy-handed earthiness emerged a bit more in the taste. Some Hawaiian Punch and exotic fruit emerged in the back as this was nicely balanced, a bit waxy, and decently bubbled. A hint of forest and dew were in the back as this had a bit of swamp water in the aftertaste, although no particular flavor every dominated over any of the others.
Some cloying bread and dough remained once this went down as the booze was subtly present on my breath once I finished this off. Canned on 5/24, this held up well as only a tiny bit of sediment had to be swirled out of the bottom of my glass. Glad to find something in, and from, the Bluegrass State that wasn't bourbon as I'd easily reach for one of these again - even if I never had an old Kentucky home.

Poured on tap at Apollo Pizza in Berea, KY. The beer is a bright hazy yellow colour with. White foamy head. Smell is citrus and pineapple. Taste is bright citrus rind and lemon zest. Finishes slightly dry with more citrus peel. Very refreshing.

Great hazy/cloudy look poured into a pint glass. Not much head. Light smell of grapefruit. Subtle taste of grapefruit that coats the mouth. Not a big after taste. After my 1st beer, this one of my favorites from Country Boy. Well done.

Definitely has all the characteristics of a hazy IPA. Great lacing
