750ml bottle poured into a snifter Bottled 2022
Pours black in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that reduces to a ring. Smells of chocolate, cherry filling, light char & coffee, caramel. Taste is sweet and malty with malty chocolate giving way to a sweet cherry note that is very reminiscent of chocolate covered cherries. The finish gives some oaky bourbon undertones, with more cherry on the linger. Medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a slightly warming finish
