A bright gold ale brewed with pale and wheat malt, generously hopped with Centennial and Simcoe. Clean and crisp to the palate with a hint of sweetness and a long fruit-filled finish.

500ml bottle.
L: Clear and golden with a single stream of micro-bubbles rising to one finger of short-lived, bright white head.
S: Clean but light. Vaguely citrusy.
T: Ever so floral. Honeysuckle and orange blossom. Light bitterness that builds.
F: Medium/light body, some oily mouthfeel and a dry-ish finish.
O: Another highly drinkable golden ale from Salopian. Good for the summer months, preferably in a sunny pub garden. An English pale ale brewed with US hops. Almost certainly even better on cask.

Can't believe I've never reviewed this beer before: its always available around here!
10th Feb 2012 sees me on a mini pub crawl around Wellington, Shropshire and pub number two has this on hand pull: this is a review of that cask ale.
As the name suggests: it is a golden colour, almost lager like in appearance with its pure white thin crown of bubbles sat on top.
The brewery claim it is tripple hopped, well it certainly has a floral hoppy aroma and taste. The malt content calms the hop bitterness down but this is still a fairly bitter tasting beer.
Easy to drink and brewed locally, what more could you ask for?
