Just an FYI. This beer is still in Production. It is currently available at the Brewery as well as select venues of distribution. If you haven't had it hurry up and grab some. Rumor has it they will be canning a small amount of cases to be sold at the brewery only.

Tuckahoe Brewing Company "I Want To See Mountains"
16 fl. oz. can, "CANNED ON 11/1/2018 08:23 THANKS GANDALF"
Notes via stream of consciousness: Great name. It's poured a cloudy golden body beneath a full head of creamy off-white. The aroma is floral, piney, "dank", and fruity. What is that fruitiness? Is it apricot? It's not quite peach. Maybe once it warms a bit I'll get a better idea of what it is. There's also something tropical to it, light mango perhaps, or strong guava, maybe passionfruit, or maybe all three - and a bot of earthiness and spice. It's not the brightest aroma but it's noticeable. On to the flavor... piney, tropical with definite mango, and I think guava, herbal, resinous, berry-like... peachy? Let me take another sip. Ahh, I'm still not sure, let's just say "stone fruit", how's that? It's an interesting blend. Sometimes I get more of the pine and earth, and other times I get more of the fruitiness, but it's definitely the pine and earth that linger in the finish with some bitterness. Although, right now I've got some berry. It's almost like blueberry and I'm assuming they're using some Mosaic in this. The malt is fairly basic, it seems like just pale malt, no crystal or anything like that, and that's great when you want the hops to shine. It's sweetish and the fruitiness helps to enhance that, but it never gets close to sweet, and the solid bitterness maintains complete control over it but still doesn't finish too dry. It's not a harsh bitterness, but in fact, rather smooth. Looking back, the head held up well and it left some very nice lacing. I'm not sure I'd give it a 4.25 for appearance but it's close. In the mouth it's medium bodied, leaning towards medium-light, and gently crisp. I'm really liking this one. It's kind of understated in a way, and yet it's not, everything is there, popping out at you on some sips, and holding back on others. Really nicely balanced. It's a winner. I'd really like to see Tuckahoe revive their year 'round line up by bringing in more beers like this and dumping some of their older stuff. Certainly worth trying!

On tap at the brewery- 10 oz goblet
A: hazy golden orange. Creamy 1/4 white head.
S: peaches. Orange rind. Candied pine. Smells almost like peach candy o-rings.
T: sweet tropical fruit up front. Follows with a piney bitterness. Had enough malt body to carry it and keep it fully balanced.
F: creamy full body. Hops prickle the tongue.
O: world class IPA. No doubt about it. I hope they keep making this.

From growler
A- pours a hazy juicy orange color
S- pineapple orange citrus a little pine and lastly some mango - wow
T- WOW nice fruity notes, more pineapple and light citrus along with some piney notes coming through. But wow very dank and juicy. Comparable to a trillium IPA with more fruit notes
F- very balanced perfectly carbonated very nice
O- World class IPA very juicy fruity and a perfectly balanced IPA needs to be on everyone's list to try. It's one of my top 5 IPA
Side note - this blows TH green and trillium melcher street away

Pours a hazey golden orange with a frothy white head. Slowly mellows down to a thin lacey ring that clings to the glass. The nose is a succulent fruit juice explosion that teases the senses. Citrus and pine are prevalent as is the invitation to partake. The flavor is a harmonious blend of pineapple citrus, sweet mango, dank green grass, earthy pine, tangy candy, and a mild malt backbone. The mouthfeel is sticky, full, creamy, and satisfying. The back end is a tantalizing dance of zest on the taste buds as the hop medley lingers in the back of the palette, beckoning you to return for another fulfilling sip. Overall, a world class IPA that should surely be on the "must try" list of every hop head and IPA lover.
