2017 Vintage Barrel Aged Imperial Stout.
12 oz bottle poured into a tulip pint.
Appearance
Black with some light penetration along the rim. Brown head fizzles out immediately.
Nose
Bourbon, raisin, caramel, toffee, fudge, chocolate syrup, coffee, and cocoa nib.
Taste
Sweet bourbon, caramel cubes, toffee, and fudge. Dark chocolate syrup, cocoa nib, and espresso. Charred oak and French vanilla. Raisin and prune juice. Light earthiness on the finish.
Mouthfeel
Medium-plus bodied, sweet, smooth, oily, silky, sticky, and lightly bitter.
Overall
$10 for a 4 pack! Sweet, complex, and worthy of another.
