Coffee Oatmeal Stout

Had a 4oz sampler at the brewery. This pours light for a stout, almost has the look of a porter. The beer leaves no lacing on the glass.

If someone handed you a point of this beer and did not tell you what it was, you could certainly tell it contained coffee. It gives off very strong coffee aroma.

The taste is what I would expect; coffee bitterness and the flavor of the oatmeal.

The mouth feel is not what I expect from a stout. Much like the look, the mouth feel is very light, more similar to a porter.

Overall, this beer is definitely drinkable. Do not expect the heaviness of a stout, which makes this more appealing in the summer, but as a coffee stout lover, not what I would expect.
