Brewed for 2013 Cheers to Belgian Beers, with the Hoegaarden yeast.
Imperial pint at Bailey's, cloudy pale gold with a bubbly white skim leaving scattered, foamy lace.
Smell is faintly yeasy, with light sweet cereals.
Taste is very much more pale, than belgian, and really not IPA at all. Mostly clean swwet cereal grains, a little yeasty (not estery mind you), with modest bitterness and less earthinessthe only nods to presumably continential hops.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, dryish. Again, yeasty.
Drinkability is OK, no compliants, fairly clean, but lacking character. I look for esters and hop flavor in a Belgian IPA, and this has neither.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
