Dark brown in the glass with a decent head and plenty of carbonation on the tongue. Sprightly mouthfeel with a very watery body. Tastes like a cola with some dark wort added. I don't actually get any alcohol taste, but maybe it's there.
Some dark roasted malt but there is a disconcerting sourish tang. A dishwater hint in the aftertaste. Quite surprisingly bitter at the end. Why is this so dirty and bitter? I don't actually taste any hops. It's more of a medicinal, aspirin aftertaste. The good news is it was only $3.69 for the 22 oz bottle, which unsurprisingly makes it taste slightly better, but still no bargain. Bought at Market of Choice on 29th in Eugene.
