Pours dark brown, absolutely not similar to true schwarzbier with decent tan head. Aroma is rather weak, similar to kvass, roasted malts. So is a taste moderate carbonation. Mouthfeel is fresh, but with rough aftertones of granulated hops. Overall it's a worthy beer among other russian dark lagers, but too imbalanced to be a good schwarzbier.
