Rich deep pitch black body with a decent tan head with just a few tiny spots without bubbles and about a quarter of which is a nice three mm splattering
Big aromas of vanilla, cough syrup and kola Kops
This is the first time I've tasted vanilla in a beer and with the dark chocolate and charcoal all leading to a bitter finish it makes a mighty treat
A tad lively and just a slither too thin makes it easy suppin'
I really enjoyed this ale

A: Deep black with small tan head.
S: Chocolate, mocha, toasted malts.
T: Malty, herbal- some vanilla and cocoa coming though, slightly sweet.
M: Medium-bodied, low carbonation.
An enjoyable stout - flavours are balanced and pleasant, but a little too understated.
