Came here after apple picking, only about 30 minutes from my place.
Call ahead before coming here as this is a mom & pop operation. They are open 7 days a week year-round but since there's only 2 of them, they might not always be around.
Place consists of 2 halves. The gift shop which is where the entrance is and the cozy dining room. Lots of jams, spreads, honey, etc.. We were able to sample half a dozen of them and all were good. From his grandmother's recipes and that's something as he looks like a grandfather himself.
To try the alcohol, we stepped over into the small dining room. He couldn't serve the beer on tap since the place was closed and didn't seem to want to open a beer to sample it. Got a bottle anyways but selection was real scarce, only one kind available. He did make us taste something else though. A honey wine which was alright and a alcohol malt beverage made with raspberries which my wife loved and which we bought a bottle of.
Nice, cute place but i wouldn't come here for the beer. Come for their other products though and remember, call ahead!
