I did not get much banana flavor our this, but it was a nice little after dinner dessert beer. Very smooth with nice caramel hints and not as heavy as I expected. Would drink again.

Looks like I'd expect. Taste a little sweet at first but the sweetness goes away after the first couple of sips. Has the caramelized sugar taste that you get from good bananas foster as a quick aftertaste. Good dessert beer and will buy again when I want this flavor for a dessert. I must not be a beer guy yet. I kind of expect it to taste like the thing that it says it is.

This tastes like a pretty typical dunkelweisse with some off flavors. Has a tartness in the finish that I don't like. It has wheat, chocolate, roasted malts, and banana flavors. Maybe it's infected or maybe it just tastes bad.

22 oz bomber pours a hazed brown with a small cap of off-white head. Not much for retention or lace.
Nose is burnt caramel and toffee and a little phenolic bananas. Smells like a dunkelweiss - Im assuming thats where the brewer wants this to go.
Sweet and malts get a little 'ST Creme Brulee' on me. The sweetness is ridiculous and goes full on diabeetus as it warms. The toast tries to cut through but just adds a burnt character to the finish....which is grimacing and under-hopped. The banana is completely lost amongst the ashy malt. Ive had more than a few (not nearly all) BB offerings and this one might top the midden heap. Pretty putrid...like some of the other bottled releases, sometimes one must wonder 'WTF are they thinking???'
