L: Pours a very pretty bright copper, but in this case, looks were very deceiving.
S: Nose was an equal blend of musty hops and white oak.
T: Wow. This was nearly undrinkable. Way too much barrel. I was overwhelmed by flavors of vanilla and virgin oak barrels, with a little hoppiness coming in on the back end. Really needed some time. Very unpleasant.
F: Astringent with mellow carb
O: Good idea, but the barrel was just too overdone for me to consider drinking this again. Wish I was familiar with the base More Cowbell for a better comparison
