12 oz. can poured into nonic
(no dates printed on can)
L: straw to yellow, almost crystal clear, topped by 1/2-inch high head of white foam; keeps a foamy collar; no major sticking or lacing
S: light yeasty pizza crust, sweet bread malt, hint of apricot or peach, apricot/peach pith or rind
T: cracker malt, lightly sweet, faint hint of greenish hop flavor, grassy or lemongrass, hint of stale graine
F: a lightweight that's delightfully full and crisp
O: there's no fancy bells nor whistles, just a tasty barley malt beverage with accents of flavors dialed down yet still present; the light hint of green grassy hops in the aroma and flavor are a nice touch; despite being simple, it's very impressive ... I'm sure this can is not fresh, probably at least 6 months old and possibly older, but there's not a single off note to be found

This isn't horrible, but if I'm going to drink this, I may as well drink Budweiser. OK -- maybe that was a bit harsh. But even if I just mowed the yard in August, I still want something more than simple drinkability. Meh.
