On tap at Hay Merchant. I am really not sure what the hell this is suppose to be, other than something with a lot of alcohol. I can not find any more info on this.
A: Pours a clear amber/red color. A two finger white head forms, but recedes in a second. Light lace is left behind.
S: The nose is of light citrus hops, and sweet malt. Some penicillin. Blah, not very appealing.
T: Follows the nose with some citrus hop flavor and caramel sweetness. Though the powdery penicillin is much more up front and prevalent. A bit of cherries sweetness even, maybe cherry cough syrup. Just a huge mess of medicinal flavors that are not good. Oh ya, that powdery penicillin flavor lingers on forever.
M/D: A medium body. Moderate carbonation, though very powdery, if that makes sense. Not something I enjoyed at all. I tried to enjoy this, but it was clear I was not going to finish this.
I have no idea what the hell this is suppose to be. What ever it is, it sure had a nasty overpowering, medicinal, penicillin taste. This really reminds me of the Concoction from Brooklyn. Which, to say the least was a very bad beer.
