Almost rosey Orange with good clarity. Minimal head retention. Nose is floral with a bit of dank lurking. Nice bitterness with cedar and grapefruit rind flavor showing through.

On-tap at I&I
Pour is a golden orange color with a white head and some mild lacing. Aroma is like a lot of the I&I beers: buttery. Some citrus hops as well as a touch of pineapple. Maybe some pine, but more butter. Buttery on the palate as well. Some bready malt and pine hops along with citrus peel. Just not a very good IPA, especially compared to other California examples.

1080th Review on BA
Draft to Pint
On tap @IandI
App- A pretty standard IPA color. A little bit amber, a little bit of golds mixed in. A bit like the Pale ale but a bit more shimmer in the glass. A good 3/4" head with a lot of cling behind it.
Smell- Hoppy, citrus, a bit bitter on the nose. A fair amount of citrus rind in it (Not brewed with it though)
Taste- It was good, but I prefered the scaled down Session IPA. This one just didn't pop and the upgraded ABV didnt really add but more smoothed out that juiciness on the smaller beer.
Mouth- A solid medium body with a good medium carbonation behind it. A tiny bit of residual hop and earthy flavors.
Drink- I liked it. Its a good IPA but I liked the more vibrant Session IPA better.
