On-tap at I&I
Like most stouts, dark brown in color with a tan colored head. Roasted malt is prominent, as is the cherry. An overall fruity quality to it, which is nice. A bit of dark chocolate, a mild char, and light toffee sweetness. The flavor is a touch acrid. Too much in the way of heavy roast, ash, and char without as much cherry and fruit character. Not a bad beer, but the flavor could use some improvement.

Draft to Pint
@I&I
App- A very dark brown bordering on a small inky black with a great looking 2 finger khaki head that had great cling.
Smell- A small bit of roasty, malty, small cherry. A little hard to pull the aromatics on this one.
Taste- A wee bit smoky malts with some good lingering crushed cherries. A nice dampness follows from the nose and then moves to a small malty flavor.
Mouth- A light medium body and a light medium carbonation. Something was just too thin on this one.
Drink- A nice cherry stout. For me. When I drink these I find its hard to find a nice balance and this was very tasty.
