1311th Review on BA
Draft to Pint
@I&I
App- A nice mix of browns and crimsons in the glass but lacked a substantial head to it. No stick or lace came from it either.
Smell- When I was talking to Chuck he mentioned Bourbon. This has bourbon soaked oak chips in the recipe and you really got this smell wofting up nicely. A large amount of malts per the style and a bit of creaminess to round it out.
Taste- I enjoyed this recipe. I know it was brewed by a friend of the brewery and I like his style. A smooth beer with some good layers and a bit of creamy bourbon behind it.
Mouth- A fairly medium body with a strong medium almost low carbonation. A good bit of creamy, malty booze remains.
Drink- A very nice beer. Had a good amount of flavor behind it with a full flavor. Good balance.
