Holy crap!! This is a must try! One of the best imperial stouts I have ever had! If you ever see this on their tap list, run and get yourself a pint. Pours pitch black, with a mocha head. Incredible espresso flavor. Considering the alcohol content, its very well balanced beer. I had a growler sitting for about a month, poured just like the day I got it.

On tap at I & I Brewing in Chino, CA.

Pours an opaque black with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa, and slight char aromas. Taste is much the same with cocoa and coffee flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of roasty bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
