This year's Jupiter Strong Ale was brewed with a mini bale of Crystal hops, sweet and bitter orange peel, and premium malts. Happy Thanksgiving!

The description of the beer at the restaurant nailed it when it said "sweet and bitter orange peel.
A: hazy copper amber with thin sustaining head
S: earthy, maybe a little hay; don't get the orange at the restaurant, but harder to get a good smell
T: bready almost sweet start, yams perhaps, but cut with a bitterness that blossoms into the orange taste mentioned above. There is a grainy earthiness underlying the whle taste that keeps the beer grounded (pardon the pun).
M: there is a slight tug, but overall a subtle bitter dryness ends the taste, with a lingering orange rind background.
O: this was the beer my girlfriend and I picked from our sampler to have pints of. It was interesting and solid. A full analysis mostly confirmed my enjoyment, but if you don't like "orange-leaning" hopped beers, you might not like this one.
