100% Organic Malts, This Northwest IPA is inspired by KBOO's mainstay Reggae program Shocks of Sheba. As strong as its inspiration, this IPA is brewed with 100% organic malt, copious amounts of hops, has great riddim and a good vibe.

Taster at brewery. Bright electric golden pour, ring of head. Light aroma and taste, mild hoppiness, creamy feel. Bitterness lingers. So generic, yet so good.

FOTM is a restaurant primarily known for their wings. They have this beer on tap, and now are bottling in 22 oz. I think their wings are better than their beer. This one is ok. Hazy golden amber with foamy off-white head. Streaky lacing. Aroma is grain, citrus hops, grapefruit, and a bit of fruit. Also some grass and herbal notes. The flavor is grass, fruit, some earthy and herbal qualities as well. Caramel malt and bread are also present. The mouthfeel is watery, and the beer lacks a bit in the finish. Bitter aftertaste with some grapefruit and greens. Not bad for a wing joint, and the best beer they offer. Drink it if you are dining there, but I would recommend buying a better 22 oz bottle.

A: Pours yellow side if golden, slightly hazy. Foamy head that dissipates to splotchy coverage. Some lacing.
S: I had trouble getting much in the nose since we were at the restaurant, but it seemed mildly floral in nature, with some earthiness. Seemed decent for an IPA, if not very strong.
T/M: starts off bitter and foreshadows a dryness, but not overpoweringly so. Grapefruit and orange add the fruitiness; maybe a little melon in the transition; the end is uninspiring, but not bad. The lasting taste is ruby-grapefruit in nature and never quite gets the pull on the tongue I expected from the beginning.
O: for me, missing a little bit of malt to start the beer, and finished a little full. In between, a very drinkable IPA. If it had even a hint of something to grab me up front or in the end, it could up its rating half a point easily.
