The color of tea, and orange. The color is turbid. Heads absence, while pouring beer formed only a thin layer of fine bubbles that then very quickly dwindle.
Aroma: is very interesting, pickled peaches, caramelized orange peel, a little caramel mixing it up with lemon.
Taste: here is also very rich, in addition to peach, orange and lemon, there is a gentle spice. Marckloff is lightly seasoned and very smooth.
Bitterness occurs only at the finish and is a herbal liquor, although alcohol is perfectly stowed away. Saturation high.

Finally got round to drink this .75cl green bottle purchased at the brewery in 2008 purely to review at home.
I poured the bottle into three different glasses, in one pour, wanting the sediment to stay within the bottle until the final glass.
The first glass held a bright amber beer with a large white foaming head and showed good carbonisation, with a lively stream of bubbles rising up through the beer.
The second glass held a slightly duller looking beer witha wispy head and very little in the way of carbonisation.
The third and final glass held only a small amount of beer, it was sludge like, a dirty dishwater brown.
There were hints of malts and hops from the first two glasses, the third was all yeast smells, as I expected.
All three glasses tasted tangy and sharp, it was also a little bitter, unusual for any Belgian brew I've come across before. The third glass had more of everything and I'm sure it 'Aided my digestion' the following morning!
I struggled to come to terms with this beer. Not a Love-Hate dilema but not far off. I wasn't overly impressed with it at the brewery (on tap there) either.
Can't be cruel but this doesn't 'float by boat' at all. The third glass however, the one containing the sediment and grimbly bits was fantastic, even though it loooked disgusting.

Vey hazy orange appearance. Dirty white color foam, quite compact.
In the smell, yeast, and a light fruitiness.
The taste is maybe too sweet and fruity. For our taste, a bit too sweet.
Average to light in body. A bit of bitterness in the aftertaste.
Drinkable, but nothing remarkable.

A brown copper beer which is a little hazy and has a creamy head that sizes down to a small white layer.
Smell is very complex, there is malt, straw, strong coriander, lavender, honey and sweet, spicy yeast smells, great sniffer!
Taste is pretty much dominated by the coriander, but not very much in my face, so not overly aromatic. There is an overall spiciness of herbs that I can't put my finger on, lavender, thime, or maybe it is just the yeast that produces these fine tastes. The yeast is bringing on a true Belgian character, spicy, herbal, a little funky and wild.
The beer is slightly sweet, some honey notes and also some wort-like properties. The beer is not bitter, but there are some aromatic hoppy notes. Drinkability is superb, I finished a 750 ml bottle within the hour. A nice example of a true Belgian beer.
