Ruhstaller has a very nice, relaxed, comfortable, dark, quiet place to enjoy beer peacefully. It’s in a basement on the great of downtown Sacramento and is cozy with lots of comfortable old armchairs, nice dark lighting, etc., like sitting in an old club or living room. service is very friendly. Beer quality is very good to excellent. Range is not huge but is very good with some nice styles not often seen these days like altbier as well as some idiosyncratic beers. A very enjoyable and comfortable place to relax.

amazing spot down below street level, you descend into the lounge. old world vibes, maybe speakeasy era, transatlantic influence and vintage lighting. the selection is small but the quality is great. service was paramount.

Finally got to stop into this almost-speakeasy location in downtown Sacto. We ended up staying hours longer than expected because it was such a fun, cool place to stay. Super easy going with solid beers and plenty of bottles/cans to go. Dog friendly with tons of couches, pool table, games and great conversation. What a great place to hang out!

Interesting tasting room in midtown, as you walk in you actually walk down into an expansive basement. To the left there is a farm display explaining how the brewery uses local ingredients. The place is super chill, pet friendly and very easy to get beers. A great spot!
