Jan. 2018: 500 ml bottle conditioned, as ELB Golden Ale, from Ales By Mail. ABV is 4.8%. Hazy golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of fruity hops, also some unfresh notes of stale marmalade and grain, a hint of spices. The flavour is citric with a bitter and slightly woody finish, but not as fresh as desirable.

Cask at Zetland Arms, London, England
A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that died down a bit but never completely faded away.
S: Light to moderate aromas of fruity hops and buttery diacetyls are present in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste has fruity flavors of yeast - apples stand out in particular - along with notes of butter and hints of pale malts.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: Except for the combination of apples and butter, nothing really stands out about this ale.
Serving type: cask
