Poured from the 32 oz growler filled at the tasting room. Attractive dark amber color. Clear and no sediment in the jug. A faint beery aroma with a whiff of flowery hops. Light bodied but pleasantly spritzy.
This is on the thin and sharp side, with a just a hint of malt. Not really very hoppy, except in the bitterish aftetaste. It's more sourish than the typical English Bitter, but I"m happy to see American experimentation with the style. With the modest malt and low alcohol, this is a highly gulpable brew and it's practically the magic 4.0 ABV that challenges Utah brewers so much.

A very nice take on a traditional English style. Gentle, earthy hops and lightly roasty malts combine for a pleasant aroma and flavor. a clean and dry finish. Easy drinkibility makes this a pleasant treat.
