Served in a tall wheat glass. poured cloudy yellow with an inch of white head that had an inch of white head that had good retention and light lacing.
The aroma was mostly typical, yeast, spice, clove, and a bit of citrus, on top of a light grain base. A pretty similar result on the tongue, but the beer seemed to lack the expected, traditional orange peel. Instead there was a bit of a lemon taste.
The body was light and crisp, with a clean finish. Drinkability was very nice, this is a great brew for the recent hot spell we're in. Overall, a pretty nice take on the style, worth trying if you see it.
