Now this brew shows up in 22 oz bottles. I got mine at Elizabeth Station. Clear yellow brew with modest amount of foam in the Bushmills tumbler. A whiff of alcohol, butter, and ripe pears. Not exactly light body, but more crisp than you'd expect after the sugar melts away.
This is a clean, textbook example of a strong Belgian pale ale. It could be a Tripel for that matter. Malty with a touch of bubblegum. Very fruity, like dried pear. The dry finish is welcome. There is some yeasty bitter scratch in the aftertaste. Another excellent brew from Kulshan.
