This is described as the "2018 Oktoberfest-style Lager." Attractive clear orangey tinged amber with plenty of foam in the narrow Belle-Vue glass. Warm and modestly malty with a pleasing sudsy mouthfeel. The aroma is roasty with a touch of grain and green beans.
The roasted caramel flavor is mild but distinct. There is just a hint of twiggy bitterness in the aftertaste but it adds to the balance. IBUs are rated at 24. Overall, quite quaffable, and a better than average brew in the Oktoberfest style. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station.
