500ml bottle purchased at Haggens in Woodinville, Washington.
No freshness dating. Poured in to a Sam Smith imperial pint glass.
Look- Clear brilliant gold color, nice bright white head that slowly recedes, spotty lacing. moderate carbonation streaming as it sits.
Smell- Sweet bready malts, vanilla/burnt sugar, sweet raisins and other dried fruits. Nutmeg and spicy/clove type notes.
Taste- Much like the aroma, but muted and somewhat muddled, still tasty by all stretches.
Feel- Medium/light bodied, crisp and average carbonation on the tongue. Barely any bitterness there, no alcohol detected either.
O- Reminds me a lot of Leffe Blonde, or at least what it used to be. A killer deal at $3 a bottle too.

Beautiful golden amber with long-lasting foam in the Maredsous goblet. It is quite aromatic with flowery hops and straw. The brewery claims it's made with "noble hops from Germany." The IBUs are rated at 40, which would be pretty high for the style, but it's really not bitter.
The malty cereal taste is smooth and mellow. There is a light mineral taste to go with the hint of clove. There is just enough sharpness and that yeasty tang. One of my favorite Kulshan beers and another reason breweries should explore this restrained Belgian style. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at the Bellingham tasting room.
