Gold/orange appearance, with a smidgin of haze. Aroma of allspice/clove in a rich manner. Concentrated body and boozy feel, with hint of coriander/banana. Very authentic Belgian quality with the concentrated finish without hop bite.

Clear amber with adequate foam in the Brigand chalice. Strong and on the sweet side. Quite a lot of yeast flavor with that Belgian candy taste. Dried pear flavor with a long lasting glow. Moderate alcohol sensation. Quite modest carbonation.
This is a pleasant "Belgian-style golden ale," as the brewery calls it. Candied fruit and hot cereal with hardly a scratch of bitterness. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at the Kulshan tasting room.
