Found a six pack at Trader Joes and was looking for a lighter beer from the usual for the warm spring weather. Instantly could smell a lovely tropical aroma when poured. Taste isn't anything to write home about but it has the perfect amount of bite yet goes down smooth and light--exactly what I want in a summertime sessionable brew.

12oz can served in a nonic glass. BBD is 08/30/20.

Look- Clear golden straw color. Small off-white head that recedes slowly to a thin cap of foam, decent lacing. Light carbonation streams visible.

Smell- Citrus (orange, grapefruit, lemon and lime), pineapple, tropical fruit and other non-descript fruit, bready malt, other herbal/floral notes.

Taste- Similar to the aroma, citrus and tropical fruit, dry malt and grassy hops.

Feel- Light bodied, crisp and dry with a minimal bitter finish. Medium carbonation on the tongue.

O- A nice easy drinking pale ale, very crushable, worth checking out.

This seems to be the new Summer seasonal, a hoppy brew that seems more like a Pale Ale than an IPA. Call it what you like, the hops are listed as Mosaic, El Dorado, Azacca, and Idaho 7. Aroma is piney and citrusy. Hint of sweetness with a light malty base.

Flavor is lime and melon with a dose of grapefruit. Moderate bitter aftertaste with an astringent note. A tasty lighter brew with plenty of hops. Clear golden brew with plenty of white foam in the Stella Artois goblet. From the 12 oz can purchased in Bellingham.
